Throughout this semester, we wrote different types of essays such as personal, informative and persuasive. I learned that no matter what type of essay is written, word choice is very important. While writing my college application essay which was a personal essay, I had to chose the write words that would have the most effect on my writing.

Another writing assignment we did this semester that involved using good word choice was ethos, pathos and logos. During this assignment, we first learned what each term meant, and how to incorporate into an essay to make it effective. For this writing assignment, we had to use good word choice in order to produce quality work.
